She is grappling with her own faltering marriage and feelings of jealousy towards the other occupants of the boat. Her characters and their closest relationships--with siblings, with partners--are trapped in isolated and claustrophobic spaces.

The target audience of this book may seem young but this novel is an excellent read for people of all ages.
